FX K303 Nitro Engine

The FX K303 Nitro Engine Combo is a high-performance .21 engine built for 1/8 buggy and truggy racing, delivering exceptional low-end torque and aggressive midrange power, ideal for medium to high traction tracks. Engineered and manufactured entirely in-house in Slovakia using premium European materials and cutting-edge Swiss, German, and Italian technology, it features a DLC-coated, tungsten-balanced crankshaft, precision-matched and individually lapped sleeve/piston set for quicker break-in, and high-quality Japanese and German bearings for smooth, reliable operation. With a 3-port design, 6.5mm venturi, short needle buggy carburetor, and lightweight 9-rib cooling head, the K303 produces up to 2.6HP at 34,000 RPM, offering a wide power band from 4,000 to 42,000 RPM, making it a top-tier choice for serious racers chasing perfection and podiums.

Chassis

The XRAY XB8 2025 features a meticulously CNC-machined 3mm Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum chassis designed for optimal balance, rigidity, and flex characteristics. Strategically milled for weight reduction in low-stress zones, the chassis maintains strength where it matters most while keeping overall weight low for quicker response.

Updates for 2025 include a revised layout to accommodate an updated split radio box system that enhances left-to-right chassis flex, generating improved traction and cornering feel. The updated side guards are shifted 4mm rearward to eliminate interference from ballooning tires during full lock steering, while the chassis’ symmetrical design ensures predictable handling under all racing conditions. Anodized in XRAY’s signature hard coating, the chassis delivers both premium durability and refined aesthetics.

Drivetrain

The XRAY XB8 2025 drivetrain is engineered for maximum efficiency, durability, and smooth power delivery, tailored to withstand the rigors of high-level 1/8 nitro competition. At its core are high-strength 45mm front and 50mm rear CVD driveshafts with ultra-precise tolerances for reduced backlash and consistent transfer of power. Lightweight brake disks and split center bulkheads reduce rotating mass and allow faster response from the throttle and brakes.

The updated center differential design incorporates a shock-absorbing rubber bushing on the outdrives to minimize wear and deliver smoother drivetrain performance under extreme loads. Combined with a bevel gear differential system, steel spur gear, and high-performance clutch assembly, the drivetrain provides the XB8 with lightning-quick acceleration, top-tier efficiency, and class-leading reliability.

Suspension
